Nothing like a friend’s wedding to get one off her butt. I’ve been working on her invitations for her wedding, this includes the designing and putting together of the rsvp’s and save the date magnets. I’m only waiting now for the number that I need to produce. Hopefully this will be a turning point… we shall see.

5×7 Summer Album Part 1

I had this idea for a 4×6 album with my favorite pictures from our summer vacation, then decided maybe it would be best to fit it on a 5×7 and make a book of it. These are the temps that I plan to use. I’m not exactly sure how many parts there will be yet that I offer but these are the start.

Get Motivated

I tell myself this EVERY day. It’s hard sometimes, and I often find myself lost in a hole of crap. So… with that in mind I am pushing myself.

Between now and the end of August I am determined to put together something.

Why?

Because well I’m sick of not taking pictures anymore, I’m sick of seeing all my scrap folders going to waste on my hard drive, and I’m sick of seeing the basket of materials collect dust in the corner of my room. We are in the middle of prepping to move into my MIL’s home and so I know this is like so stupid to start something now but I think I need to. I really miss playing around with photoshop.

Keep an eye out, I’ll have templates soon for a small project I want to do. I hope you’ll join me.

So I never did get around to posting anything for the holidays. They weren’t that great this past year with my father in law in the hospital. Things went pretty far downhill after the new year as well. My father in law passed away February 9th due to complications after open heart surgery he’d had in June.

I want to say that I will pick up scrapbooking again but at the moment I just can’t. My heart isn’t in it. I will still leave up whatever I have available for download for those who come along onto the blog.

I am Alive

I promise. I know it’s been a year of Sundays since I’ve posted.

I want to say thank you to all those who continue to download my freebies. It was astounding to open my email for the first time in a very long time and seeing that it is still generating hits.

Why am I posting after so long? To let you know that life is leveling back out and so I hope to be able to start making templates again. That is my plan anyways. I haven’t done digital scrapbooking in a while and I miss it desperately.

Look for a Thanksgiving and Christmas freebie to show up soon.

For Christmas I can do one of two things, at least I think I have time for only one or the other.

A mini book (suggest size, shape please) of Christmas themed templates or 4×6 and 5×7 Christmas cards.

I’m leaning toward just the cards, as I’ll need to make one of my own for friends. But I’m leaving it up to you. Leave me a comment and tell me what you’d think you’d like best.
